Import and export

Move to TasksPage without retyping: import a spreadsheet (CSV), Todoist or TickTick. You always see a preview first, and a whole import can be undone with one click. Your tasks also go out as CSV or JSON at any time. Free on every plan; you need to be signed in (a free account is enough).

WhereSettings → Your data → Import tasks (CSV, Todoist, TickTick). Choose the file (or paste the text), press Preview, check the rows, then Import. Up to 2 MB per file.
Spreadsheet (CSV)Any CSV with a header row (comma, semicolon or tab). TasksPage guesses which column is the task name, category, due date, notes, done, progress % and important — change any of them in the preview. Categories are matched by name and created when new; dates like 2026-10-25, 25.10.2026 or 10/25/2026 are understood.
From TodoistIn Todoist open a project → ⋯ → Manage data → Export as CSV, then import that file (one per project; sections become categories, priority 1 becomes Important). A Todoist backup is a ZIP with one CSV per project: unzip it and import the CSVs. JSON from Todoist's API works too (projects become categories).
From TickTickIn TickTick (web): Settings → Account → Generate backup → a CSV file. Import it as it is: lists become categories, checklists become checklist lines in the notes, high priority becomes Important.
Undo an importRight after importing, or later under Recent imports: Undo removes the tasks of that import (also ones you have edited since) and the categories it created, if they are empty.
ExportDownload CSV gives every task as a spreadsheet row (name, category, section, progress, due date, reminder, repeat, important, notes); Download JSON is the complete copy of your data. Tasks of a locked category are only included after you unlock it.
