TasksPage: a simpler, free Any.do alternative with no sign-up

Any.do is a polished, cloud-synced task and calendar app. That is exactly the point of difference: it requires an account (email, Google, or Apple sign-in), and there is no anonymous "just start typing" mode. TasksPage takes the opposite approach.

• No sign-up. Open taskspage.com and add tasks straight away. An optional free account only exists if you want cross-device sync.
• One page, no structure to manage. Any.do gives you multiple lists, boards, tags, a calendar, and the My Day view. TasksPage is a single page on purpose — no projects, no boards, nothing to set up.
• Progress percentages. Every task has a completion percentage you set by dragging, and tasks auto-sort by how done they are. Any.do does not offer per-task progress percentages.
• Genuinely free, no upsell pressure. TasksPage is free forever with no ads and no third-party tracking. Any.do's free plan is generous, but better reminders (location, advanced recurring) plus Focus Mode and colour tags sit behind Premium, so the free experience surfaces upgrade prompts.
• Works offline. TasksPage is an installable PWA that works offline. Any.do is built around cloud sync.

TasksPage's paid tier is simple too: Pro is $2/mo or $20/yr and adds unlimited colour categories, reminders, due dates, recurring tasks, calendar/ICS export, themes and dark mode, and 5GB of attachments.

To be fair, Any.do beats TasksPage in several real ways, and if any of these matter to you it is the better pick:

• Native apps everywhere. Any.do has genuine iOS, Android, desktop (Windows and Mac), smartwatch, and browser-extension apps, plus Siri support. TasksPage has no native mobile apps — it is a PWA you install from the browser.
• Daily planning across tasks and calendar. The My Day view showing your tasks next to calendar events is a strong, unified way to plan a day. TasksPage does not do this.
• A very generous free tier. Any.do's free plan includes effectively unlimited tasks and lists, full cross-device sync, reminders, calendar, email-to-task, and integrations — with no credit card.
• Quick capture and integrations. Natural-language quick-add, smart grocery lists, email-to-task, and Gmail/ChatGPT integrations make capturing things fast. TasksPage has none of that.
• Teams and sharing. Any.do supports collaboration; TasksPage is single-user, personal only.

In short: choose Any.do if you want a full task-and-calendar app across all your devices. Choose TasksPage if you want the opposite — one page, no account, nothing to manage.

TasksPage is a new, small indie product, and we would rather you know that up front. It has no native iOS or Android apps (only an installable PWA), no team collaboration or sharing, no third-party integrations (no Slack, Zapier, calendar sync-in, or email-to-task), and no natural-language quick-add. Its ecosystem is smaller than an established app like Any.do. Also note: password-protecting a category is server-side password-gating with encryption at rest — it is not end-to-end encryption, and there is no password recovery. If those gaps are dealbreakers, Any.do or another app will serve you better.
