Free online to-do list — no sign-up

With TasksPage there is nothing to register for before you write your first task. Head to the app and it is already usable — a real task tracker with no account required. Your list is saved on the server and linked to your browser, so closing the tab does not lose your work.

An account is entirely optional. Create a free one only if you want your tasks to sync across devices — phone, laptop, work machine. Otherwise, skip it. There is nothing to confirm, nothing to verify, no inbox to check.

There is nothing to install to get started. TasksPage runs in any modern browser on any device — no app store, no executable, no admin rights. It is a proper to-do list with no signup and no download attached.

If you want it to feel like an app, you can install it to your home screen or desktop as a PWA. That also unlocks offline use: add, drag, and edit tasks with no internet, and your changes save the moment you are back online. Handy on a train, a plane, or a patchy connection.

Every task has a progress percentage you set by dragging — scrub it from 0 to done instead of flipping a single checkbox. Tasks auto-sort by completion, lowest percentage first, so the things you have barely started float to the top where you can see them.

Organise with colour categories (five free, unlimited on Pro), and password-protect any category you like. You set the password and the server withholds those tasks until you enter it; the unlock lasts your session. Note this is password-gating rather than end-to-end encryption, and there is no password recovery — forget it and those tasks stay locked. All data is encrypted at rest on the server.

You also get notes and questions on tasks, file attachments (100 MB free, 5 GB on Pro), instant search, drag-and-drop reordering, and a satisfying "burn to done" fire animation — with undo, for when you get ahead of yourself. Everything lives on one page across Active, Procrastinating, Done, and your own colour categories. It is deliberately a task tracker, not a project manager with boards, folders, and nesting.

TasksPage is free forever — no ads, no third-party tracking. If you want more, Pro is $2/month or $20/year and adds unlimited categories, reminders and notifications, due dates, recurring tasks, calendar/ICS export, themes and dark mode, 5 GB attachments, and "request a feature" (reasonable ones built within a week).
