Terms of service

The service

TasksPage is a personal task tracker with a permanent free plan and an optional paid Pro plan. It is provided as is, without uptime guarantees — we run it carefully (encrypted storage, daily off-site backups) but cannot promise it will never be down or never lose data. Keep your own copies of anything critical (the app has a one-click JSON export).

Plans, the free Pro period and payment

TasksPage has a permanent free plan and an optional paid Pro plan (€1.99 per month or €19.99 per year, billed in euro). Every new workspace and account gets Pro free for 3 months (90 days), with no card needed; for workspaces and accounts that already existed on 4 October 2026, the 3 months started on that date. There is one free Pro period per person: it is tied to the email address and the Google account, and it does not start again if an account is deleted and created again.

The free Pro period includes the Pro features, but not the larger Pro storage: attachments keep the free-plan limits (5 MB per file, 50 MB in total) until you pay for a subscription. Reminders, Google Calendar sync and attachments need a free account.

When the free period ends without a subscription, you move to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: Pro features such as reminders, Google Calendar sync and repeating tasks pause. Your data, including your reminders, is kept and works again when you subscribe; due dates keep working on the free plan. If you subscribe during the free period, the first charge is on the day it would have ended, unless you choose to pay straight away. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time from the app; Pro then stays until the end of the period you paid for.

Your content

Everything you put in stays yours. You grant us only the technical license needed to store, back up and display it back to you. We never use your content for anything else — see the privacy policy.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you forget it, use “Forgot password?” in the sign-in window: we e-mail you a link, valid for one hour, to set a new one, and every device is then signed out. Accounts created with Google sign in through Google. You can delete your account, and everything in it, at any time from within the app.

Fair use

Don't use TasksPage to store or distribute unlawful content, don't attempt to access other people's data, and don't overload or disrupt the service (technical quotas apply). We may suspend or remove accounts that do.

Liability

To the extent Dutch law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — for the free beta, that is zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes & law

We may update these terms; the current version always lives here with its effective date, and material changes will be flagged in the app. These terms are governed by Dutch law. Questions: support@taskspage.com.
